Description

One Pot Kielbasa Pasta is a comforting, creamy dish that brings together savory kielbasa and tender pasta in one easy-to-make pot. Perfect for busy weeknights, this flavorful meal requires minimal cleanup and is sure to satisfy the whole family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz smoked kielbasa, sliced
  • 8 oz penne pasta (or rotini)
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until translucent (about 5 minutes). Stir in garlic and cook for another minute.
  2. Add sliced kielbasa; cook until lightly browned (3–4 minutes). Then, add uncooked pasta and chicken broth, ensuring the pasta is submerged.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 12–15 minutes or until pasta is al dente.
  4. Stir in spinach until wilted (about 2 minutes), then mix in grated Parmesan until melted. Serve warm.
