- 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil elbow macaroni in a large pot of salted water until al dente (7-8 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with chopped onions until the meat is cooked through and onions are translucent (5-7 minutes).
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer on low for 10 minutes to combine flavors.
- Fold in the cooked macaroni and cheddar cheese until well-coated.
