  • 4 medium Russet potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Thinly slice the Russet potatoes using a sharp knife or mandoline.
  3. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, half of the cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Layer half of the potato slices in the baking dish; pour half of the cream mixture over them. Repeat with remaining potatoes and cream mixture. Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
