Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp chili paste
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- 1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, chili paste, and lime juice. Add chicken pieces and coat well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- 2. Prepare Skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water while marinating the chicken. Metal skewers don’t require soaking.
- 3. Skewer the Chicken: Thread marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving space between pieces for even cooking.
- 4. Preheat the Grill: Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high (around 400°F/200°C).
- 5. Grill: Cook skewers for about 5-7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Look for a golden-brown color.
- 6. Serve: Remove from heat, let rest briefly, then drizzle with extra bang bang sauce or serve alongside for dipping.
